Hello All:

The US Open is now closed. We’ve been in the PH Suite where Billie Jean King and Ilana reside for the full 2 weeks and suddenly it’s come to an end. We are fortunate to enjoy many of the perks that come with the person who’s name is on the complex, The USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. We ride in the beautiful state-of-the-art Cadillacs with no concern of what surrounds us. Yes, spoiled by my friend, but what are friends for if not to treat them to a good time!

Women’s matches, especially the semis, have been close and exciting and the finals gave us some thrills—Sabalenka prevailing over Anisimova.

Alcaraz sent Djokovic packing, who has been trying for a record 25. Sinner defeated Felix-Auguer Alliassam to reach another major finals, but Alcaraz was on fire and snatched victory in 4 well-executed sets giving Sinner no chance for the title. They now have traded #1 & #2 rankings and both hold 2 Majors each this year. Alcaraz: French & US Open & Sinner: Australian & Wimbledon! The rivalry continues!

A great US Open, always different, always special, especially at PH 1B!!
