The festival of lights and life are all aglow around town. It’s the Holidays and the spirit is very much alive. On behalf of The Love & Love Tennis Foundation we would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas, a Happy Hannukah and a Happy Holidays. This is a special time for me and I am sure for many as it brings us all together with family and friends. I do hope it was a great year for everyone as we begin to look forward to 2024 and what it brings for us all…hopefully joy, good health and good things!

WTA GEORGINA CLARK MOTHER’S AWARD & WTA CHARITIES “CHAMPIONS FOR CHANGE” AWARD
As part of our evening WTA will be “Presenting” 2 special awards; the “Georgina Clark Mother’s” Award to Pam Shriver and the WTACharities “Champions For Change” Award will be announced later.
Georgina Clark passed away March 18, 2010 and was a former Worldwide Tour director & V.P. of European Operations for WTA. This award is a tribute to her wonderful way with the women players but most importantly she was a mother figure to many of the young players and always offered motherly advise. The 2nd award is the “Champions For Change” Award. I know who the honoree is and I will let you know soon!
ROSIE CUP DOUBLES ROUND ROBIN:
We are excited to have the Rosie Cup here at Indian Ridge and look forward to getting a capacity draw. PRACTICE UP AND BRING YOUR PARTNERS. IF YOU DON’T HAVE ONE WE WILL FIND ONE FOR YOU! Lots of good tennis and prizes for all but most importantly you will be supporting junior tennis in the desert!
THE LOVE & LOVE TENNIS FOUNDATION:
The LLTF is continuing it’s junior tennis programs with Rhenn Ramirez who is now back at my club Indian Ridge C.C. Schedule of clinics and camps are on my website and are going on through the Holidays. We hope to be running some NJTL Tournamentss and Level 6’s 7’s at IRCC.
