The ANNALEE THURSTON AWARD RECEPTION DINNER is next Saturday, March 7, at PALM VALLEY COUNTRY CLUB.
The ROSIE CUP ROUND ROBIN DOUBLES is Sunday, March 8, at INDIAN RIDGE COUNTRY CLUB in Palm Desert. We have a few seats left for the dinner, so if you’re planning on coming, please register online. For those who purchased tables, the tables are complete, so if you have any changes or additions, please let me know.
The Welcome Reception starts at 5:30pm followed by dinner at 6:00pm. The Evening Program starts at 7:00pm.
We’re looking forward to a wonderful evening with Hall of Famers CONCHITA MARTINEZ, this year’s recipient of the ANNALEE THURSTON AWARD, and TRACY AUSTIN, who will be receiving The WTA GEORGINA CLARK MOTHER AWARD. RAQUEL GISCAFRE & JANE STRATTON will be honored by the WTA Foundation with the CHAMPIONS FOR CHANGE AWARD, for their excellence in promoting one of the most popular and successful WTA tournaments in San Diego.
In addition to these “prestigious” awards, we have a Raffle with some great prizes, Live & Silent Auction with a special item waiting for each of your bids.
Hall of Famer PAM SHRIVER is our MC again, and we look forward to a very entertaining evening with her.

Check-in starts at 7:00am with a Continental Breakfast. We can still use a couple more teams of 3.0 & 3.5 as well as 4.0 to 5.0.

WTA ALUMNI ACTIVITIES:

- Saturday, March 3: WTA Alumnae Pickleball Event will be held from 9:00–11:30am at Toscana Country Club.
- March 8: WTA alumnae are welcome to attend a Tennis for Hope Member/Guest Mixer, starting at 5:30pm at La Quinta Resort. The event includes dinner, cocktails, and a concert by the Bryan Brother’s Band. For more information, please email Marianne Werdel: mariannewerdel@icloud.com.
- Monday, March 9: 4th WTA & ATP Tennis Legends Golf Event at Desert Willow Golf Resort, with registration from 7:30am, followed by lunch and an awards ceremony: Click to register.
- If you’re in the Austin area before Indian Wells gets underway, we’re excited to bring together a small group of WTA alumnae at the ATX Open Ladies’ Day Brunch on February 25.
