MARTINA NAVRATILOVA’S 70TH BIRTHDAY PARTY:

I just got back from celebrating Martina’s 70th Birthday bash in Miami Beach at one of her favorite local restaurants. MaryCarillo put an incredibly funny video together with all of us taking part; Shriver, Chrissie, Tracy, Gigi, Arantxa, Chanda and bunch of others.

Although it rained the two days I was there, Pam Shriver and I managed to get to the beach and enjoy the seagulls, crazy swimmers, flying planes with advertising banners that stalled in mid-air with a wind that parted my hair and sandblasted our face. We didn’t get a tan, but we were satisfied that we saw the Atlantic Ocean in style!

The evening was very nice with good food and wonderful Margarita’s. She had both tennis friends and other friends who filled her evening with a lot of good energy. So congrats Brat for getting to be 70 and looking pretty good.
